Here at Alcala Country Pet Resort, we strive to give your dog the most enjoyable, comfortable and safe vacation while you are away. We have been around since 1975, and strive to make sure that both you and your pet have the best experience possible. The facility is nestled back away from main roads and the highway, making it very peaceful for the dogs to run and play. We have 4 astroturf play yards and over 50 indoor suites to accommodate your furry family members.
During designated playtimes, our large yards are constantly monitored by our experienced staff members in order to make sure your pet will have the safest and most enjoyable experience. At night, your dog will sleep in its own personal, climate controlled suite set up to make them as comfortable as possible, ensuring they sleep safe and sound.
We recommend all of our guests come with their own pre-portioned food from home, especially if they have sensitive stomachs or are picky eaters. Otherwise, we are happy to offer our house food (Purina Pro Plan lamb & rice) to our overnight guests for no additional charge.
We require all of our new guests to complete a complimentary Orientation Day prior to their overnight stay to assess their sociability with other dogs and to ensure they are comfortable with all of our staff and facility amenities. We ask that you are available to stay with us for the first 20-30 minutes of this appointment. If all goes well, we will schedule a time about 3-4 hours later for pick-up, during which time we will share details about how the rest of your dog’s first day with us was! Most pups greatly benefit from participating in a few acclimatation daycare days prior to extended boarding stays. We strongly encourage scheduling their Orientation Day at least 2 weeks prior to booking any overnight stays to ensure they have plenty of time to settle into their home away from home.
All pets on premise must provide veterinary records of up-to-date vaccinations. Required: Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, 6 month Bordetella. Encouraged but not required: Canine Influenza.Pur

Boarding Notes
Alcala Country Pet Resort charges are based on calendar day (not overnights, or 24 hour time blocks). We do this to ensure that every dog goes home happy and healthy and that the owners are not rushed. This means that there are no predetermined check in and check out times.
Departure baths and nail trims are offered for an additional $38 fee and occur the morning of their scheduled pick up day (unless requested otherwise). We ask that you please pick up after 12:00PM to ensure our grooming team has plenty of time to complete their spa service.
