Bruce and Tara’s passion for animals has traveled through their entire lives. With over 60 combined years of experience as recognized American Kennel Club professional dog handlers, their pride and love for the industry has always been their driving force.

Matt enjoys helping families create lasting bonds with their furry members, helping navigate complex behavior concerns, and teaching pet parents how to best communicate with their four legged companions

Courtney’s childhood love of all animals has grown into decades of professional animal care experience. From domestic family pets, to agricultural livestock, to exotic zoo species, there isn’t much Courtney hasn’t seen. She prides herself on compassionate communication and education to ensure optimal care and lifelong happiness with your canine companions.

ASSISTANT MANAGER
Adam has been with us since 2008 and has extensive knowledge of all our services and amenities. He is owned by his two cats, Prince and Malcolm and enjoys collecting action figures. His meticulous nature puts everyone at ease knowing he has all the answers.

I’ve been working with dogs since I was in the fifth grade starting at volunteer summer programs at Rancho Coastal Humane Society which became a common place I spent my time volunteering as I grew up. I have spent two years working directly for doggy daycare and boarding centers and I am loving my experience with Alcala. I feel like I am a part of the team and that I have a good team I can rely on to give every dog the care they deserve.

Alejandra and Alejandro have been with Alcala for many many years, and from taking care of your pets to all of their seasonal decorating, they take pride in making Alcala the best it can be.
